About Me

Originally from Minnesota, I’ve called the Flathead Valley home since 2005. I’m Christine Hurst, LCPC, a Licensed Clinical Supervisor and trauma-informed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families through seasons of change, challenge, and growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have been in private practice since 2009.

My professional journey has been shaped by diverse experiences—from working with inmates in county jail and troubled youth, to building a private practice where I’ve supported children, couples, and families. Over time, my work has evolved, and I now specialize in working with women, supporting them through the unique emotional, relational, and identity-related challenges they face.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. I offer therapy for women navigating life transitions, including perinatal and postpartum mental health, grief and loss (including miscarriage), and the complexities of stepmotherhood. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists and mentor independent contractors building their own private practices.

I am trained in psychodynamic therapy and consider myself eclectic in my approach. As a client-centered, trauma-based therapist, I aim to empower women to face their anxieties, fears, and hopes as they move through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping women heal from childhood wounds, process grief and loss, and navigate changes in roles that may impact their sense of identity. My work draws from a blend of EMDR, CBT, ACT, and relational attachment therapies, tailored to each woman’s unique journey.
